Regenerative Tech and Biophilic BIM: Bringing Natural Materials to Modern Construction
Track: Biomimicry + Biophilic Design

Natural materials have inherent strengths due to their genius designer, our earth. Utilizing nature's gifts had long been the go-to for creating the products we use every day, until the industrial revolution changed this practice. The growing trend of biophilic design and yearn to reconnect with nature is opening up passageways to utilize our natural resources and facilitate a regenerative economy. Modern technologies allow us to work with and understand natural materials in a way even the strictest code official would approve of. Learn about the technologies easing manufacturing, design, specification, and engineering of natural construction materials.
