Interior Design has an often unacknowledged highly significant place in the world of healthy materials. It leads the design profession in forging an understanding of the direct connection between people and the buildings they inhabit. We will introduce the owners, designers manufacturers, scientists, and educators concerned with interior design who have led the way toward revealing the specific effects of materials on the health of their clients and employees. We will explore how each discipline must work together to grasp the whole picture in order to find solutions to improve our interior environments through the use of technological and humanistic tools. Practitioners and students alike will join our journey to explore ways to create the interiors for a positive and responsible future.
