Join us for a truly unique Living Product Expo Tuesday Night Afterparty! Guests will board a boating excursion along Pittsburgh's three rivers (weather permitting), complete with food and drinks. You'll catch an incredible view of the City of Bridges' skyline and network with new partners and friends! Our venue for the evening is the Rivers of Steel Explorer, a hybrid bio-diesel ship that was designed to green standards with help from a local advisory board. Sustainable features of the boat include operable, double-glazed windows, LED lighting, Woodstalk fiberboard made of wheat straw, recycled carpet tiles, low-VOC surfaces and paints, and on-board water conservation. Rivers of Steel is a non-profit organization that provides student programs focused on STEM, environmental science, and history. Funds from boat rentals for events like ours help support these educational programs.
The boat will depart from the Convention Center dock promptly at 9:00PM. Tickets must be pre-purchased in advance and ticket holders must be present by 9:00PM or the ticket is subject to forfeiture.
Please note that the Wednesday and Thursday afterparties are included in the Full Conference Pass.
